Dr. Steven Duncan is a poet, writer, curry enthusiast, and resident physician living in Greater Philadelphia. He enjoys writing on topics at the intersection of medicine and the humanities.

Steven grew up in Utah Valley and attended Brigham Young University where he received a degree in microbiology and Russian. For two years, he lived in Siberia as a full-time missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He earned his medical degree from UT Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas and graduated with distinction in global health.

Steven was the editor in chief of Home and Abroad magazine (2019-2020), The Medical Student Press (2021-2022), and former editor at In-Training (2020-2022). He is a member of Rock Canyon Poets.
